"The new Altima follows the new Nissan LEAF in embodying the vision of Nissan Intelligent Mobility, making our cars more desirable by re-defining how they're driven, powered and integrated into society," said José Muñoz, chief performance officer, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.
The 2019 Altima will be available in five grade levels, along with a limited-production launch edition, when it goes on sale at Nissan dealers in the United States in fall 2018. The all-new Altima will also be available in an expanded number of global markets in the coming years.
"Our goal with the all-new Altima is to re-energize the sedan segment – in terms of design, driving feel and in making advanced technologies available and affordable for everyone," added Muñoz. "We want to energize drivers, helping make their lives safer, less stressful and more exciting."

Nissan also provides a limited warranty against battery capacity loss below nine bars of capacity as shown on the vehicle’s battery capacity level gauge for the first eight years or 100,000 miles for all models.
Nissan and Google announce a technology partnership to embed the Android operating system in vehicles
Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi and Google today announced a technology partnership to embed the Android operating system in vehicles sold by the world's leading automotive alliance, providing intelligent infotainment and customer focused-applications across multiple models and brands, scheduled to start in 2021.
Under the technology partnership, vehicles sold by the Alliance members in many markets will utilize Android, the world's most popular operating system, and will provide turn-by-turn navigation with Google Maps, access to a rich ecosystem of automotive apps on the Google Play Store and have the ability to answer calls and texts, control media, find information, and manage vehicle functions with voice using the built in Google Assistant.
The Alliance, whose member companies last year sold 10.6 million vehicles in 200 markets, will integrate Google applications and services into infotainment and cloud-based systems to enhance the experience for customers of Renault, Nissan and Mitsubishi Motors brands. While a range of Alliance vehicles will share the Android platform, each brand will have flexibility to create a unique customer interface and specific features on top of the common Android platform.
Bringing a legend of rock and roll inside the 2019 Nissan TITAN, Nissan and Panasonic Automotive Systems Company of America will introduce the new Fender® Premium Audio System to the truck this fall. The 2019 TITAN will be the first Nissan vehicle and the only truck in its class to feature the Fender Premium Audio System.
Inspiring "the emotion of a live performance," the Fender Premium Audio System includes 12 speakers (10 on King Cab models) with an amplifier power of 485 watts through nine channels. For a more precise immersive performance, the new Fender Premium Audio system incorporates Panasonic's proprietary Acoustic Motion Control™ technology, which helps reduce vibration in the individual speakers to provide an immersive and detailed sound unlike any in its class.
"Every adventure requires a great soundtrack," said Fred DePerez, vice president, Nissan North America LCV Business Unit. "With the new Fender Premium Audio System, every seat of the 2019 TITAN will feel like the front row at your favorite concert venue."

Nissan seeks to celebrate everyday heroes as TITANs of the Community, TITANs of the Neighborhood and TITANs of the Outdoors
When is a TITAN more than a truck? Nissan's new marketing campaign, Calling All TITANs, seeks to celebrate everyday heroes using pickup trucks to improve the world around them. These TITANs of the community, neighborhood and outdoors are driving change from behind the wheel of Nissan TITAN trucks.
"We have seen that TITAN customers are the kind of people who want to get the job done and leave their world better than they found it," said Jeremy Tucker, vice president, Marketing Communications and Media, Nissan North America, Inc. "Be it conservation of the outdoors, contributions to local charities or simple acts of kindness, there is a natural desire among pickup truck owners to take action when help is needed."
TITAN: THE TRUCK THAT WORKS AS HARD AS YOU DO
BEST-IN-CLASS STANDARD HORSEPOWER
How many horses under the hood? It's question every truck owner wants to know and where any measure of trucks begins, and often ends. The 2018 TITAN® emphatically answers the question with its 5.6L DOHC V8 that offers more standard power than any competitor in its class. [*]
AVAILABLE UTILI-TRACK® SYSTEM
TIE IT DOWN, THE WAY YOU WANT
The 2018 Titan's durable and flexible Utili-Track® system features 5 bed rails, the most in its class
, and 4 movable cleats that work together to give you the perfect cargo tie down spot every time.
THINKING INSIDE THE BOX
CLASS-EXCLUSIVE REMOVABLE TITAN BOXES
The 2018 TITAN is the only truck in its segment that offers lockable, removable boxes designed to create extra, secure storage, within the bed. Store and transport loose tools, emergency supplies and keep other items from sliding around your truck bed, without taking up interior space.
NEED SPACE, NOT PASSENGERS?
FIRST-IN-SEGMENT REAR SEAT DELETE
While the 2018 TITAN King Cab can offer comfortable seating for up to six, the first-in-segment rear seat delete option removes the seat and rear heating duct but adds a flat rear load floor and rear wall tie-down hooks to create even more storage space for that large tool box or other items you want to store inside the cab.

Now in its eighth year, the 2018 Nissan Heisman House campaign features 10 Heisman Trophy winners in a series of TV spots airing on ESPN beginning Aug. 30 and running throughout the college football season.
